Consider This...

When the men who lived there asked Isaac about his wife, Rebekah, he said, "She is my sister." He was afraid to say, "She is my wife." He thought, "They will kill me to get her, because she is so beautiful." (Genesis 26:7 NLT)

It's amazing how much our children mimic us as parents and grow up to become more like us than they ever want to admit. Do you recall that Isaac's father (Abraham) offered this same lie when he was afraid for his life? Children learn from their role models when they're growing up. The old saying really is true, "Life father, like son." There are young ones watching and their lives are being molded by our actions and reactions every day.
