Forty Days with Jesus

Come take a 40-day journey with us that will lead you chronologically through the last week of Christ’s life, ending with the celebration of His resurrection on Easter Sunday morning. Our emphasis is called, “Light of the World: 40 Days with Jesus” and it starts February 29 and ends April 8, 2012. Each day you will be reading from the events and teachings of Jesus that come from the last week of His life.

During the Passion week specifically (April 1-8, 2012), there will be three to four-minute videos posted on our church web site that will briefly chronicle what happened to Him on that day. We hope you will view these video summaries/devotionals just to help you better meditate on Christ and His great love for you.

Bookmarks are available in all the lobbies with the 40 daily Bible readings or you can download a PDF copy from our web site. Either way, make time each day to spend a few minutes with Christ as we walk along with Him to the cross and beyond!

I promise...your life will be changed by considering His great love for you that was demonstrated on Calvary’s hill. Thank God, though, He is no longer in the tomb and is alive forevermore!
