I'm sure you've noticed, but the langue people use today has arguably reached an all-time low. Expletives, vile comments, derogatory speech, gossip, slander, hate-filled words, racial slurs, sexual innuendo, as well as the proverbial "whatever" all reveal something about what is really in the hearts of men and women. Sadly, even our youngest children have begun to repeat much of this same kind of talk because they hear it on TV, at school, among their friends, and in their homes. It's time to raise the level of our communication so it reflects who we are in Christ. As followers of Jesus we should not allow any "perverse talk" or "corrupt speech" to be uttered from our lips. Even if no one else is listening...God always hears what we say.
