Why is it we wait so long to do the right thing and confess our sins to God? He already knows what we've done so trying to hide them from Him is a waste of time. When the Psalmist "finally" confessed his wrong to the Lord, God "forgave" him and took all his "guilt" away. He does that for any of His children, if they'll just come clean with Him.
