Consider This...

And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb." (Revelation 6:16 NLT)

An old Christmas hymn says that at Christ's first coming He was "meek and mild." But, John indicates that when He returns the second time it will be to execute justice against Christ-rejecting mankind. The Revelation lays out some of the events of those days when people will "cry to the mountains and the rocks" to hide them from "the wrath of the Lamb." Any teaching about God that diminishes the biblical view of His hatred for sin belies the one true God.
