"The devil made me do it," might have been a funny quip for Flip Wilson bringing him lots of laughs, but no follower of Jesus can seriously make such a claim for himself/herself. Victory over sinful habits is always possible through Jesus Christ Who has severed sins "power" over our lives. None of us will ever reach the state of sinless perfection until we see Jesus face to face, but there is no reason for us to excuse our failures, either. You CAN (!!) beat anything that seemingly has you bound. You have God's Word on it!.
