After Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the Lord’s Temple and spread it out before the Lord. (2 Kings 19:14 NLT)
When Hezekiah got bad news about an impending invasion he did what all of us should do when surrounded by threatening circumstances. He took it to the Lord and "spread it out before" Him in prayer. God is sovereign over everything in our lives and has the power to turn back any aggression against us. It's worth reading "the rest of the story" to see how God protected Hezekiah and the people of Judah. He can do the same for you, too!
